Revolut, the British fintech giant, has obtained a MiCA license from Cyprus, positioning itself to expand cryptocurrency services across the European Union. The license, granted by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission, ensures compliance with the EU's standardized regulatory framework for crypto assets.

The move solidifies Revolut's standing alongside industry heavyweights like PayPal and Stripe, all of whom are deepening their involvement in digital assets. With 14 million active crypto users—22% of its total customer base—Revolut's EU-wide authorization is poised to enhance accessibility and trust in crypto transactions.
